An Unexpected Surprise!!
This is Jordan. After an unexpected emergency c-section yesterday evening our little Lucy is finally here. Lucy was born at 8:26 p.m. weighing in at 4 lbs. 11 oz. and 18 inches long. Lucy and Mom are both healthy and happy. I am sure Laura will give all the details in a later post. She is tiny and has a full head of hair and is beautiful just like we knew she would be. I couldn't get any of the pictures to load here at the hospital for some reason. I will load some tomorrow from school.

Hooray! So glad that Miss Lucy is finally here...and I'm sure she is so adorable it's hard not to hug her and love her and squeeze her. Can't wait for the pics.
First off, I'm so glad that Laura and the baby are doing well. That's so wonderful that her little lungs were strong even though she was early. When Lucas was born he weighed 5lbs. 10 oz. and when we left the hospital he was 5lbs. 2oz.-- I can't imagine a baby being smaller than he was...she must be tiny!!! Just a little piece of advice. We used preemie diapers at first and Lucas had a blow-out almost every time. We switched to the newborns even though they were HUGE on him and the blow-outs went down significantly. I compared the two diapers and the preemies have zero absorbency.
I'm SO excited to get a glimpse of your little Jordan/Laura combo...I'm sure she's just perfect and beautiful.

Hooray for the Walkers!!! I am so HAPPY for you two! I am so glad I get to meet little Lucy while I am there. I did see the picture from the text, and I love all that dark hair. I can't wait to see more. Good luck with the new addition to your family, and we love you guys!
