So, I've been on bedrest since last Tuesday. To be perfectly honest, I'm feeling pretty stir crazy and relish the thought of being able to get up and move around. However, I've decided to look at the positive and realize there are definitely benefits of staying down. For example:
1-I have been getting all sorts of phone calls from family and friends. It has been great to catch up with everybody.
2- I have already dropped 5 pounds of water weight from keeping off my feet. I can see my ankles again!!!!
3- People have been bringing me all sorts of goodies.
4- I get to watch the first season of Gilmore Girls........again.
5- I don't have to feel guilty about not helping around the house anymore.
6- I have an excuse to not have to do my hair. Wet buns everyday!
7- It's nice to have so many visitors.
8- I'm improving my cognitive functioning and enriching my vocabulary with the MANY crossword puzzles I complete daily.
9- I have been indulging in food cravings. Bring on the popsicles and pizza. But most importantly of all.......
10- I know I'm helping my baby

You are so cute Laura!! We are thinking about you and wish you the best of luck. This baby sure is lucky to have such awesome people as parents!
Laura- It's Kinsey Kelley Love. You are such a trooper! I am so excited for you. I am due on September 22, and I just want you to know that I am as big or bigger than you right now. You look really good! It sounds like your doctor is a good man and I'm sure things will turn out well. Just enjoy your rest right now. Good luck!
I'm stoked to see little Lucy this upcomign week!!!!!!! Call me for the next monopoly game!
It was good to catch up with you the other day. I am so glad there are good things about bed rest! I can't wait to meet her in September! Keep us posted!
I would have to say I am a little jealous, not feeling guilty about the house chores and watching Gilmore Girls, my idea of a good time. Hope all is well, and congratulations!
Laura Walker, you know you're one of my favorite people! I'm glad it's been such a good break. If you get the BYU magazine, you should do their crossword puzzle. I think it only took Ben two hours. :) Definitely good for your cognitive development. :)
Good luck tomorrow! I hope everything goes well!
Too bad I am not there or we could get a good run of Pride and Prejudice in before the baby comes! :)
