Other May Happenings....

While my mom was here, we celebrated Mother's Day!  Once again, my ward put on a spectacular feast for all the women during the third hour of church.  Best. Sunday. Ever. 

 After church we took some pictures.

 Oh man.  I love my mom.

 My kids were ridiculously sick the month of May.  More to come on that.

 We also had a visit from my good friend, Steve Tingey, his wife, Mary, and their darling little boy, Julian.  We had a great time catching up! 

 Jordan and I finally got around to celebrating our seventh anniversary.  We went to dinner at McCormick's and Schmick's and then went to see "The Great Gatsby".  

 Lucy had a great time with friends too.  Whether bathing in the tub...

 ...or the lake.

A Visit From my Parents...

After our Florida trip we were lucky enough to have my parents for an additional week all to ourselves.  I love when my parents come into town.  My favorite thing that we did was go see Rock City in Chattanooga, TN.  Rock City is a really cool natural rock formation that they have turned into a tourist destination.  It's kind of hard to describe.  It was beautiful and we had a great time.

Lucy managed to end up in the corner in Rock City.  As I've said before, you can find a corner anywhere.

At the top of Rock City you see forever far.  On a clear day you can see seven different states!

Charlie sipped through a straw for the first time on this trip.  He was highly motivated to get the frozen pink lemonade through the straw!
