Summer Wrap-up...

Well, summer is officially over. I started work yesterday, and my heart broke all over again leaving my baby. One more year....one more year...... Anyway, we spent the last couple of weeks on the road for a final summer hurrah. We headed to McCall with the Walkers for the annual summer camping trip with several other families. While we had a great time with the family, camping is a little less enjoyable when you have a teething baby who wakes up crying several times each night. After Lucy woke up screaming on the fourth night, we threw in the towel and headed to the condo at 3:00 AM. On Wednesday, everyone headed home except Jordan, Lucy and I. We stayed at the condo for an additional 4 days without a car. Luckily everything we needed was within walking distance.
On the patio boat.

My parents met us in McCall and stayed for a night. The next morning we got up early and drove to Vancouver, BC for my cousin, Erin's, wedding. Here is Lucy watching 101 Dalmations for the 10th time on the drive to Vancouver.

The Othello Tunnels. These huge tunnels were blasted for the railway, but never used.
Outside the Langley Temple. So beautiful!
An old bridge near the tunnels.
One of the days we rented cruiser bikes and rode along the sea wall on an island outside of Vancouver.
Near my cousins' house is a beautiful hike through the forest to some waterfalls. We slid down the rock behind us into this FRIGID cold water.
The beautiful bride.
Waiting for the bride to come out of the temple. Now, back to reality.
