Jordan and I arrived in Utah on the same night. We spent the next two days working our tails off to get everything unpacked and organized. We wanted to take advantage of the time Jordan had before he started work, so we packed up and headed to Vancouver, BC. Usually we drive straight to Vancouver, but we decided to make a little detour to Portland to visit with some cousins. The kids were so great on the drive.
We drove through the Gorge during sunset. It was spectacular.
We met up with my cousin, Brian, and Michelle and Maddie. Michelle took family pictures for us, then they showed us around downtown Portland. We ate lunch at Por Que No? No stinking good.
We also met up with our good friend, Brandon Madson.
No trip to Portland would be complete without a stop to VooDoo Doughnuts.
Bacon on a maple bar? Yes, please.
While we were in Portland we stayed with my cousin, Janel and her family. The next day they took us to the Tillamook Factory for a tour.
After the Tillamook Factory we headed out to the Oregon Coast.
Charlie may not have been excited about the beautiful scenery, but he sure loved the sand.
