Anyone else ready for Spring? I know that technically it's already Spring, but I'm talking about warm weather, blossoms, tulips, green grass, etc. That's what I'm ready for. This past month has been a little challenging. Jordan has been crazy busy with his accounting internship and night classes. I finally got really tired of my back hurting all the time and decided it was time to get serious about fixing it. I have been going to physical therapy three times a week for three weeks now. While I can definitely feel a difference, each appointment takes over two hours. This means that on the days I have physical therapy, I don't get home until 6:30. That gives me an hour-and-a-half to see Lucy before she goes to bed. Definitely NOT enough. Also, little Lucy has been teething for the last week. She is little miss grumpy pants during the day, and up every 2-3 hours at night. I feel so bad for her. I hate seeing her so miserable. Now that I've just been a major whiner, I'm going to look on the bright side. Jordan finishes his internship on April 15th. He's gotten great accounting experience and could possibly end up with a job offer. I must say that it has been nice to have two incomes as well :) While the physical therapy is pretty time-intensive, I am definitely feeling a difference in my pain level. Now that I'm done nursing I am finally starting to lose my baby weight! Woo woo. Even though Lucy is teething, she's still darn cute. See, life really is good.
March is a big birthday month for me and Jordan. Scott's birthday is on the 15th, Jordan's dad's is on the 18th, our sister-in-law, Jessica's is on the 20th, and Jordan's mom's is on the 21st. Hence, there has been much celebrating. Also, my dad served his mission to Ireland so we do St. Patrick's Day big time at our house. I love holidays and birthdays because they give us an excuse to break up some of the monotony of daily life and CELEBRATE! Here are some pictures I took this month.

Lucy in the tub with Emma. We just put her in her Bumbo and it floats like a raft. Lucy LOVES her cousins, Abbi and Emma. Every time she sees them she squeals and laughs and is SO excited. It's really cute to see the bond they are already forming.

This is what I see most mornings. It doesn't matter how many times I take that little quilt off her face. She just puts it right back over her face. Should I be concerned?

Scott on his 27th birthday. I had to post this picture because he looks ridiculously freaky.

He was very excited about all his presents.

Lucy in her St. Patrick's getup.

After sucking on a strawberry in one of those mesh feeders. She had strawberry EVERYWHERE!

Hang in there, honey bunny! Spring will come, the internship will end and summer vacation is coming faster than you think. And Lucy will be 25 and blogging before you know it! Love ya, Mom
Woof! Laur, no wonder you're barely keeping your head above water! The no sleep thing is so rough, isn't it? I'm happy to report that Phineas slept 7.5 hours last night. But I guess that only lasts a while until they teethe!
Hooray for weight loss and feeling better! I think the snow will leave us eventually, right?
I am SO ready for Spring, too! It's killing me! Why can't it just stay warm already instead of teasing us once a week. Very inconsistant and confusing.
oh my gosh I just want to squeeze her and maybe eat her too (in a loving and not carnivorous way:) She is just a little ham!!! I'm glad life is really good...we really do need to get together and catch up-I miss you!
Scott does look sooo freaky! I love Lucy in her St. Patty's dress. I'm sorry about your back and so glad you're going to physical therapy. Last but not least, Can you invent a floating adult bumbo for Powell? I want one!
I love the bumbo in the bath! What a great idea! We just moved down the street so it wasn't too eventful...mostly just a pain. Still here in Chicago and hoping spring comes soon. Lucy is a doll and I am in love with her hair!!
I am glad your getting help with your back, and it's getting better. I am sure you are counting down the days till summer vacation so you can spend the days with Lucy (working will make you appreciate it even more). By the way I so wish I could see ya this summer.
Even though Lucy is teething she is cuter than ever! Love her st. patties outfit. Love ya cuz!!!
