What did I ever do with my time before I had a baby? I know I had loads of it, but what did I do? I have a very simple list of things that I would like to get done. However, I can't seem to cross things off my list. I lie in bed at the end of the day, exhausted, and I think....what did I accomplish today? I guess I did wash and fold the laundry, take a shower, get myself ready, go for a walk, bathe Lucy, feed her about 10 times, clean the apartment, write some thank-you notes, etc. I guess it just feels sometimes like I'm accomplishing nothing. Enough about me. Lucy had her 2 month appointment last Tuesday and here are the stats:
Weight: 8 pounds 12 ounces--10th percentile
Height: 21 inches--10th percentile
She has almost doubled her weight since she left the hospital. It might have something to do with her CONSTANT need to eat. She has also been smiling like crazy, and she is starting to coo and goo. LOVE it!!!!

nice. all around nice...well, except for lucy's blowout (although i'm sure there are more of those to come!) and the cougars loss (hopefully no more of those to come!) this season.

You are DEFINATELY not the only mom who feels that way...or the only person for that matter. Some days I feel like I'm going, going, going, all day, running around like a chicken with it's head cut off...and at the end of the day I feel like nothing got done. Strange, isn't it? Cute pics of Lucy! What a cutie! We want to get to know her better.
Imagine giving birth to Lucy now.. minus 2 oz. and that would be my child! She looks great Lar, what a doll. I need to hold her again! Also, no worries about the getting things done bit, you just focus on your time with her and eat it up. The way I see it, is that you will never get that time back!
She is so stinking precious! I'm glad I got to meet her in person.
That blowout is pretty impressive. And she's hardcore BYU already. Just like her mom and pops. I'm sure you're proud! :)
Welcome to life as a mom. I have done away with the list of "want to do" and just make sure we are all alive at the end of the day. That way, I can always feel like I have accomplished my goals!
Lucy is so gorgeous and adorable. I want to see her SO bad. (I think I say that in every comment) Hopefully at Christmas!?!

She is soooo darling Laura! For the record though, I am way mad at you for leaving right when we came into town! Boo! Now I have to wait until Christmas to see Lucy! That blowout looks fun. Once while I was on the phone Eliza stuck her hand in her diaper and wiped it on my face!
