April...

Here is a summary of April.  Lucy was involved in a neighborhood preschool co-op this year.  She made such great little friends and learned so much.  In April we hosted preschool and learned about helping with chores.  The kids had a blast helping me make beds, fold laundry, sweep, empty garbage cans, and dust.

We also had major plumbing issues in April.  It started with us spending $270 to get our upstairs toilet unclogged.  Two days later the main line from our house to our septic tank collapsed.  We ended up having to spend $4000 to replace the cast iron pipes with PVC, and have the drain fields cleansed.  Lame.

My cousin, Janel, and her cute family came into town.  It was so fun to spend with her!  She was my cousin that I was closest to growing up and we had a great time catching up.
While Janel and Derek were here we went to our first Braves game of the season.

The next morning I participated in my first 5K with some girls from my ward--The Color Run.  It was ridiculously fun.

The next day was conference Sunday.  I heard gigging when I woke up and this is what I found.
In between sessions we went for a walk in Kennesaw Mountain State Park with our friends, the Shelton's.  The kids had a great time playing in the stream along the trail.

Charlie started sitting up on his own.  This is one of my favorite stages.  I love when they aren't mobile yet, but can sit and play with toys.
We also went to the zoo,
took Charlie swimming for the first time,

....and went camping with the Sheltons on Lake Allatoona.  I love this picture of Lucy and Jordan!

These last three pictures were just too cute not to post.
