V-Day...

This year Valentine's day switched from being about me and Jordan to being about the kids.  Lucy is old enough now that she gets excited for holidays, and so it was fun to celebrate with her.  The night before we made some sugar cookies as a family.

Lucy had preschool on Valentine's Day, so she got to exchange Valentines for the first time with her friends.  Later that afternoon, I was at the YMCA watching Lucy's swimming lesson when Jordan called.  They were letting him off work early, and he was on his way to watch Lucy's lesson!  Lucy was so excited that her daddy was coming to see her swim.  It was so nice to have Jordan home at 4:00.  When we got home, Jordan has surprises waiting for me and Lucy.  He bought a little pink rose just for her.  She was THRILLED!

He also got me a pretty bouquet of flowers and some Lindor Lindt truffles.

Peter Pan finally came out of the Disney vault, so we surprised Lucy with it.
We Facetimed Jordan's parents so they could watch us open the Valentine's package they had sent.  Then we spent the evening making heart shaped pizzas and watching Peter Pan.  Great day!

Lucy's smile is just precious in all of these photos. She was obviously thrilled about EVERYTHING! Way to make Valentine's Day into a little bit of magic. Love you.

The pic of Lucy kissing Jordan is possibly one of the cutest things I have ever seen. I'm so glad you had such a pleasant day!!
