Easter was wonderful. Lucy loved everything about Easter with the exception of the Easter Bunny. The thought of a large rabbit coming into our home with a basket was a little disconcerting to her. She kept saying, "I'm scared of the Easter Bunny." Jordan's mom found this cute little hat in the dollar section at Target and bought it for Lucy's dress-up collection. She's been having a great time modeling it.
When it came time to dye Easter eggs Lucy about lost her mind with excitement.
She was very careful when putting the eggs into the dye.
My mom sent Lucy this darling dress for Easter Sunday. She was SO excited to put it on.
We had a little photo shoot after church to model our new dresses. My EXTREMELY thoughtful friend, Bethany, sent me this dress (along with all sorts of goodies) in a parcel this past week. I couldn't wait to wear it on Sunday.
After church, Lucy had a nice, long nap. When she woke up we had a little talk about Jesus and the resurrection and then she hunted for her Easter basket.
After she found her basket we had a little egg hunt in the back yard. That evening we went to Aaron and Haley's for a traditional (and delicious) Easter dinner. It was a perfect day to reflect on the blessings of the Atonement and the amazing blessing of Christ's resurrection. Hope you had a lovely Easter!

I have such a big smile on my face right now! How I wish I could put myself into a time/space transporter and pop in for a couple of hours for a visit. I'm so glad that you had a lovely Easter and a great visit with Kathy and John. Love you all so much. This is going to post under Annie's name, BTW.
You are so beautiful, Laur. Seriously, your hair looks AWESOME. And it makes me kind of teary to see how much Lucy is growing: her hair is getting so long, and her face is just maturing. I'm really glad you're coming out this summer!
Talking to you yesterday possibly made my week. We've been trying the corner thing, and Phineas almost hates it. We'll see how it goes. . .
