28 weeks
32 weeks-I can't believe that I'm due in less than 7 weeks now. August 11th isn't coming fast enough. So, this is going to be an uncharacteristically long post due to the many pictures we took. Feel free to stop reading at any point.
Due to my current pregnant state, I was unable do all the walking required to see the sights. I spent a lot of time in this wheelchair. When we were at the Museum of Natural History, a little girl walked up to me and said, "Are you old?" When I told her I wasn't old she asked, "Then why are you in that chair?" Her mom was horrified. I thought it was funny.

Museum of Natural History: We spent most of one day here. We also wanted to see the Holocaust Museum, but we were unable to get tickets. Next time.

Monument Night Tour: Laird took us on the coolest monument/memorial tour by night. It was so cool to see all the monuments lit up. Our first stop was 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue-aka the White House
The Korean War monument was one of my favorites. The soldiers were lit up, and it almost felt like they were alive.

The Lincoln Memorial: This was my favorite thing I saw. They had the entire Gettysburg Address etched in stone. The memorial was much bigger than I thought it would be.

Monticello: Thomas Jefferson was such an interesting man. The architecture at Monticello is one of a kind.

Laura and Jordan's lake house. We found this run-down shanty near Lake Anna and decided to take a redneck "honeymoon" shot. Maybe we'll buy the place and fix it up....

The National's Baseball Game: Our last night in D.C. we decided to go see the Washington National's game. Like any good mom, I fed my baby a hot dog, diet coke, dippin' dots, and nachos with extra cheese sauce. Nutritious. It went into extra innings, so we didn't get home until 12:30. We had to wake up at 4:00 the next morning to make our flight, so we were all pretty tired.

What a great trip! Jordan and I are headed to McCall, Idaho for a week to stay in his parent's condo, so I'll post about that when I get home.

Laura what a happy life you are living, I absolutely love all of these pictures! Have fun in idaho.
Oh and PS---with all of these travels you are doing, I think you need to swing by Georgia and see me and Josh...
What a ball!! DC is one of my favorite places in the entire world. Didn't you feel so patriotic while you were there? We went on the monument tour at night, too, and I loved everything about it. I can't wait to see you when you get back from McCall!
P.S. You're looking super cute!
Oh man, what a great trip! I went to DC 3 times in a matter of 5 months, and never was able to see ANYTHING. I am sure it was amazing, but I have no idea how you did it 7 months pregnant.. which you don't even look! LUCKY!
Looks like you guys had a great time. You look awesome for being prego. Is that a fanny pack that Clark is wearing? Only he could pull it off.
I feel depressed when I see how tiny your belly is at 32 weeks. I think we are about the same size and I am only what 18 weeks behind you...boo!
Laura- I love the pics! D.C really is such a fun place to go. Hopefully you will be able to check out the holocaust museum next time you go, it is amazing and sad... You look so great, and I can't believe you are due so soon!! I also had to laugh at the sweet fanny pack Clark and Michelle had, Love It!!
I totally need to do DC again too. There's just SO MUCH to see and I didn't have enough time. I love all the night pictures of the monuments. The Lincoln Memorial looks amazing all lit up.
Seriously LAura...you are TINY! Are you still in a lot of pain?! :( Did you decide on a name yet?
Tell Clark that they'll get they're video very soon!!!
You look wonderful! It looks like you guys had a fun trip. I remember doing a similar trip with Aaron, his dad, and sisters when Ammon was living in Baltimore. I remember being so tired from all the walking, and I wasn't even pregnant!
(On a side note, I see in the comments that you have another friend here in Georgia. So you have us and them, which means you have little excuse not to come sometime!)
You guys and your summers...They are always killer. Can I join the fam? If your sister's not married by the time my brother gets home we're setting them up, ok? You are too tiny, girl! Go eat 10 hamburgers. Still no butt and teeny itty bitty legs...jealous. DC is a TON of walking and I'm glad you had a wheelchair for a little bit of it. Looks like lots of fun. Yay for McCall!
I so enjoyed looking at the D.C. pictures, Laura. Hopefully you've been reading all your comments and taking note of the fact that your friends think you look SMALL! So quit looking at yourself like you're a beached whale, okay? Love ya, Mom
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
"Are u old?" haha that cracks me up!!!
You little babe is sooooo stinkin' cute!!
love ya!
