Destin, Florida...

Last Fall Jordan won a free week-long stay at a condo in Destin, Florida.  We decided it would be fun to invite my parents to go with us.  The more we got talking, the more we realized it would be the most fun if we opened up the trip to everyone in the family.  My dad purchased two more condos and the plan was to meet in Destin.  My parents flew into Atlanta a few days early to spend some time with us and then drive down to Florida.  Charlie was thrilled that Grandma and Grandpa were in town.

Destin is amazing.  The sand is so fine and white that it gets compared to white sugar.  The water is a beautiful turquoise color and the waves are just big enough to be fun, but not so big that the kids can't play in them.  Lucy had a blast playing with her cousins.

We spent one afternoon building a pretty legit sand castle.

One of my favorite things that we did was go on a dolphin watching/shelling excursion.  It was so cool!  We saw all sorts of dolphins and then went to an island where there are tons of beautiful shells.  We had to look inside the shells to make sure there weren't hermit crabs in them.  We all brought one hermit crab back to the boat for hermit crab races.
These four babies are within seven months of each other.  Charlie looks like he could eat the other three.

My little ginger kid.  While our features are similar, our coloring is definitely different.

We rented some paddle boards one afternoon.  They are so fun!

The whole crew.

All the lovely ladies.

We took impromptu family pictures the last evening we were there.

Lucy and Jordan got Crazy Colors Blue Bell ice cream.

Oh, I want to go back!

Hopefully we make it back someday!
