We're home!!! To make a long story short, Lucy is eating better, drinking better, and they sent us home today. There is a marker in the blood called the C-Reactive Protein which is an indication of infection. A normal CRP is less than one, and on Sunday night Lucy's CRP was 5+. Today it was a 1.1, so they felt it would be okay for us head home. We couldn't be happier to leave the hospital!! I'm happy to report that Lucy is more like herself today. She's even smiling and laughing. Thanks for your prayers and concern. We're exhausted, but grateful for all the amazing doctors and nurses at Primary Children's Medical Center.

This is the regimen Lucy will be on for the next 12 days. Jordan organized the medication this way and even created a spreadsheet to keep track of how often she needs the medicine.

Laura! I had no idea you guys STAYED in the hospital! I thought you went home that night. This breaks my heart even more! How scary. She seems very happy now! P.S. I love Lee DeWyze! And I love your mom :)
Oh I'm so glad you are home and she is doing better! I can't believe that little comb stuck into her! I love that Jordon made a spreadsheet- that sounds just like Baden. Must be the accounting majors! Lucy is a total DOLL I want to eat her! We love you guys!

Wow, just got caught up on the saga!! I am so sorry. I am so glad you are home though, there is no place like home. I remember just being so grateful when we were able to take Claire home and I didn't want to go anywhere, just wanted to be home with her!! I am so sorry, that all sounds terrible. I wish I would have known earlier, I feel like a bad friend. Call me sometime and let me know what I can do. School is out almost, happy days!!
I am so glad your all home;) I hate looking back at last March when I was in the hospital, but when you need them it is so great to have such great facilities and Drs so close. It's good you had the feeling to go. I love Luc and am so happy she's smiling again.
How scary! I'm so glad you guys and home and doing okay. I still can't get over Lucy's hair. I love it! She is quite a babe!
