April Happenings

First of all, a heartfelt thanks to those of you who commented on my last post. Registering was much easier thanks to your advice. I think I'm finally starting to form a list of things that I want for when this baby comes. I'm sitting at my computer thinking, "How is it possibly April 21st? Where is the time going?" As of today, I am 24 weeks along--and trust me, I DEFINITELY look pregnant now. I have now officially had complete strangers ask me when I'm due. I'm not sure how I feel about this. It's been really fun for me to feel my baby kick the past couple of weeks. Her kicks are strong enough that even Jordan can feel her now. Here is the 24 week shot. While I was in St. George I swear this baby tripled in size. It seemed like my belly got really big all of a sudden. When I came home my family was like, "Whoa, what did you eat while you were gone?" Thanks family.

One of the many benefits of working in education is that I get so much time off. The week before Easter was Davis District's Spring Break, and it was fabulous to have a whole week to relax. Jordan and I spent four of those days in St. George. Jordan's grandparents have a really nice fifth wheel trailer that they let us stay in, so we didn't have to spend any money on accommodations. We watched conference, went shopping, and even spent a day in Zion's National Park. Due to my ever-present sciatica, we were only able to walk a portion of the Riverside Walk in Zion's, but it was still fun to be outside in such beautiful surroundings.

Easter was great this year. We dyed easter eggs, had dinner with the Walker's, got nice easter baskets, and went for the traditional Hale easter egg hunt. You might think it's strange that adults in their twenties would still be excited about an easter egg hunt. Let's just say there's money involved. I may be gimpy, but I was highly motivated to find eggs this year.

Guess who these eggs are making fun of?

Scott was very excited about his easter basket.

Laur, you look so cute! At least your pregnancy is only in your belly. It's darling! Did you get my message? Maybe you could email me or try and call. :) See you soon!

oh Laura, you are looking so cute and pregnant, I am so sad that I can't see you in person! And what a lucky girl to have spring break, I've been trying to convince my boss that the entire office needs a spring break (it hasn't worked so well.) ANd I love all of the pictures, as always.

I really want to go to St. George after reading your post! Your little prego belly is really cute! It's a good thing Scott hardly ever checks blogs, or he might get some revenge with that hot picture you posted of him;)

You look beautiful and are sure getting a lot done while prego! So glad you registered for some good items. People will pull through for you. It seems overwhelming at all of the things you have to buy but it makes you so grateful for how generous people are.
