It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..
So, I'm finally done with finals, and I'm officially bored. It's no fun having time off when everyone else is busy! I decided it was time for Jordan and I to take pictures in front of our little tree. This is our first real Christmas tree that we have purchased since we've been married, and I felt that it deserved some notoriety. The day that we purchased the tree will forever be remembered in my mind. To preface my story, I had been suffering from the WORST case of stomach flu known to man. It lasted for eight days and managed to ruin both my birthday (a high holy holiday) and Thanksgiving. The day after Thanksgiving, I woke up still feeling pretty sick and emptied all the contents of my stomach which included two Thanksgiving dinners. If you want details about the next part of my morning in which I lost all control of bodily function you'll have to ask me in person because it's not for the faint of heart. After my traumatic morning, Jordan and I were in the Christmas spirit (we waited until after Thanksgiving all you pre-Thanksgiving Christmas celebrators) and we decided to decorate our humble apartment. We had so much fun putting up our Christmas decorations and then went down to Dick's Ace Hardware to buy three more pieces to our Christmas village. Then we went for broke and bought our first Christmas tree at J & L's. We then decorated our little Christmas tree while listening to some of the classics (i.e. Bing Crosby and A Carpenter's Christmas). I included pictures of our village and tree for your enjoyment. Cute, huh? Well, the last part of my story consists of me eating pizza and a McDonald's cheeseburger later that night (yes, I know I'm an idiot, but I thought I was feeling better!) and then projectile vomiting all over myself and our bathroom downstairs. Jordan, bless his heart, helped me clean myself up and then cleaned up my vomit. What a nice husband!

Hmm...reminds me of another story in which there was vomit and various other bodily fluids in that SAME basement, in that SAME bathroom, and a husband who had to show some serious love by cleaning it all up. Talk to Erin Hale for the rest of the story.
I love that story about Jordan taking care of you--what a nice husband! Your tree is darling, and I hope the boredom subsides soon. You could study for the Praxis all day . . . :) Haha! Just teasing. Merry Christmas!
I love you charlie brown tree. It's so cute! I also love Jord's long hair. I want a picture in the carhart Jord!
Ah! Laura! I miss you!!!! I was so happy when I saw your comment on my blog (it's been a long time since I've even looked at our blog...as you can tell, it's pretty outdated!) because now I can keep better tabs on you! We should get together over the holidays...I'll give you a call!
